I think this confirms it

Just taking a break from my summer holiday on the lake when I saw that Avery was quoted in a New York Times article on men wearing shorts to work.  That’s right I said men.

Here’s Sean’s actual quote:

“Why go to work and be hot?” he asked last week, adding that there was no compelling business reason to look modest and dull on the job. “You can look good and not have that boring-type look,” said Mr. Avery, who signed with the Dallas Stars this summer after several seasons with the Rangers. “Why are women allowed to do it and not men?”

If this is his attitude, I’m glad he’s gone.  First of all, where’s the respect for The Generalissimo?  A simple shout for being the genius that brought him to New York in the first place would have been nice.  But more importantly – MEN DO NO WEAR SHORTS TO WORK.  Its inappropriate and fruity.  I mean look at the guys in that article?  I’m sure none of those “men” have ever reeled in a marlin while chomping on a hand-rolled Santiago Cabana cigar.   And they sure as hell ain’t playing hockey for The Generalissimo’s team as long as I’m alive.

And there are lots of things women can do that men can’t do – like have babies, breast feed (in private of course), and clean The Generalissimo’s vacation home.
